What is needed for Live Streaming?

  • Camera and microphone
  • Powerpoint presentation
  • Interesting session or speech
  • Solid internet line
  • Live streaming hosting

From event to online

Besides the webcasting and Live Streaming, Aventix Media Services is a full service audiovisual company. Therefore you can leave everything up to us on the conference day: set-up of audiovisual equipment, recording, technical assistence... The online part is covered by our web development partner Pureplexity.com. But, how does this work exactly?

Preparation

first

If you book Webcasts on Demand or Live Streaming, there are certain things we need before the conference day: the full programme with speakers, speaker pictures, session titles and short description. We provide you with a briefing on how the speakers should behave on stage. A little bit of directing work is involved here: where they will be standing, how much they can walk around. Sometimes there are specifications for the powerpoint presentations, set-up of the stage, etc....

Registration on video

second

On the day of the conference we do our normal audiovisual set-up as requested. If Live Streaming or Webcast on Demand is also ordered we install additional elements, such as a microphone, High Definition Camera and our recording computer with own developed recording software. We record each session seperately. When recording the session the speaker should pay extra attention to articulation, his facial expression. Since there is no room for post-editing, the speaker should come well prepared, know his session and not look at notes too often. The participants at home enjoy watching such a session better when they actually see the speaker’s face.

We record the speaker separately from the presentation. The speaker is recorded with a High Definition camera, while we record multiple laptop screens by connecting the laptop to our recording application.

Converting to Webcast / Live Streaming

third

When the entire conference is finished, we convert the videos to webcasts and synchronise them with the recorded presentations. Our recording application is equipped with a functionality that traces and removes duplicate presentation slides. When the conversion, deduplication and synchronisation is finished, we check the webcasts to see the result and tweek if necessary.

Publishing on videoplatform

fourth

At this point we upload all of the webcasts to the videoplatform. As you can read further on this website, you can get your own branded platform. Along with the webcasts we publish the session titles and add a picture of the speaker. When publishing is finished, you will receive a login to check and verify the conference webcasts

Participant Login

fifth

After your approval, we create logins for your participants. We do this by generating general logins and passwords. Upon first login, your participants can change their profiles with their name, e-mail address and own password which they can use for future login. If you have your own videoplatform which you use for all of your conferences, your participants can always use the same login.
